The Merida airport code is MID.  Many airlines fly into MID with connections in Houston or Mexico City.  Taxis with regulated fares
are waiting at the airport exit.  A taxi to your hotel in Centro will cost approx. $13 one way.

January is the "high season" in Merida and we suggest that you make flight and hotel arrangements well in advance, especially
since the two-week long annual festival will be occuring during this time.
