The USPiM suggested group hotel location and rates will be posted by end of April.

Hotel rates will most likely change during your stay. Holiday/high season rates are generally in effect until sometime between Jan. 4 or Jan 6. Depending upon the hotel you have selected, rates may decrease by as much as $15-30 per night after the high season cut-off date. It IS possible to find an economical place to stay in Playa del Carmen (check with Trip Advisor for all listings). BOOK EARLY - especially if you are seeking economical lodging - there are many visitors who return to Playa every year. Streets are in a grid. Calle by 2's and Avenidas by 5's. 5th Avenue (or Quinta Avenida), the main traffic-free walkway with shopping/restaurants/bars/everything, is 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. Playa is an easy town to walk around, with most hotels and attractions located within 4 blocks from the beach and then the length of Quinta Avenida).
