Approximate cost for a rustic beach cabana in compounds we suggest are: $45/day w/shared bath or $70-$95+ w/private bath.  Finding affordable accommodations in Tulum during high season is a big job: request our list!

As can be expected, economical places to stay in lovely Tulum are in HIGH DEMAND during the winter months.

There are also a few good hotels in town.  Our activities will take place in town in the mornings and at the beach in the evenings. *Expect approx. $8-10/day allowance for taxis or a daily bike rental to go back an forth between beach and town. Hotel rates will likely change during your stay. Holiday/High rates are generally in effect until sometime between Jan. 2 and Jan. 6.  After those dates, rates may decrease by as much as $15-30/night. Sharing taxis to and from town will cut down fares substantially.

Shared Rooms:  Email uspoetsinmexico@verizon.net if you would like to share a large/double beach cabana with another participant. We will suggest a hotel and forward contact information for others seeking a share.

*ONCE AGAIN: BOOK AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE*

Tulum Pueblo will provide you with ATM's, banks, restaurants, markets, bus station and a ton of taxis. A 10 minute taxi ride (approx. $3.50 each way) or 15-20 minute bike ride to the beach.
