Travel Information for Playa del Carmen
Fly into Cancun airport (CUN) and take a bus for one hour (just outside the exit to your right, have pesos - approx. $25USD) to Playa del Carmen OR fly into Cozumel airport (CZM), take a taxi to the ferry (a few dollars) and then take the ferry across to Centro in Playa (45 minutes). The ferry lets you out in the heart of everything. More than likely, you can walk to your hotel from there (unless you have excessive luggage).
USPiM strongly recommends making air reservations at least six months in advance in order to take advantage of lower fares.

which means it is almost always warm. The annual average temperature is
about 27C or 80F. November through January are the coolest months, which means it is warm and sunny during the day
and cool and breezy in the evenings.
