Workshop or Merida Fellowship Award Submission Guidelines

Please submit 4-6 poems that you feel are complete, no more than 6 pages in total, 12 pt. Times New Roman type. Do not put your name or address on submitted poems. Submissions will not be returned.Enclose your poems, a check for $25 made out to U.S. Poets in Mexico and the completed and signed Application. Mail to: U.S. Poets in Mexico, P.O. Program Acceptance
After a review of submissions, acceptance notifications will be
sent promptly every week via email on a first come/first selected basis. Registration Fee, Tuition and Optional Fees are due upon acceptance. The Merida Fellowship award recipient will be notified promptly by email and announced on our website and Facebook pages on November 1, 2010. PLEASE NOTE: Entries for the workshops will continue to be considered past the October 15 deadline, however, they will not be entered in the Fellowship contest if postmarked after that date.
Tuition & Fees (USD)
Reading Fee: $ 25. Include with your Application & Submission (non-refundable)
Registration Fee: 200. Reserves your place in the workshops. Due upon acceptance, non-refundable
(*2011:Returning participants receive a 10% discount on Registration Fee and Tuition = $70)
Tuition: 500. Due upon
acceptance, non-refundable. Daily faculty workshops, discussions and guest workshops
Excursions All day trips are "at cost"
