Cancellation Policy: U.S. Poets in Mexico and its Director reserve the right to cancel any workshop due to unforeseen circumstances and/or substitute faculty due to the same. In case of insufficient registration, a full refund will be returned to all applicants. We reserve the right to modify a workshop or tour program without prior notification as may be necessary, and in such an event we will substitute comparable services of equal quality. Terms & Conditions: It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain and carry a valid passport, visa(s), and any other travel documents required by applicable Mexican government regulations. It is understood that guests of participant (wives, husbands, friends or family members) must sign, and will be bound by, the same waiver contained in this Application if accompanying a participant who is attending this program. Participant recognizes that he/she is responsible for complying with the rules and laws of Mexico, State of Oaxaca and Oaxaca City. Participant agrees to respect the rights and privacy of faculty members, fellow participants and program staff or may face removal from the program without refund. Waiver & Release of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement: In consideration of being allowed to participate in the U.S. Poets in Mexico Poetry Conference, I hereby release, hold harmless and forever discharge U.S. Poets in Mexico, its Director and all other auxiliary organizations of U.S. Poets in Mexico and each and every officer, agent, employee and non-employee of each of the above referenced entities from all claims, causes of action, or demands of every kind which I may have at any time or that any person claiming through me may have in the future against any of them by reason of any injury to person or property, or death, in connection with my participation in any U.S. Poets in Mexico workshop, event or excursion or in connection with pursuing my own agenda and activities while in Mexico during the U.S. Poets in Mexico program week, and outside of the U.S. Poets in Mexico program schedule. I certify that I am in good physical health and am physically able to participate in the U.S. Poets in Mexico Poetry Conference. I understand and acknowledge that serious accidents sometimes occur during activities such as this, and that some medical conditions may be exacerbated or aggravated, and that participants occasionally sustain mortal or serious personal injuries and/or property damage as a consequence thereof, and that my participation could result in loss of or damage to my property, serious injury to my body or to others, and/or my death. I have been advised to obtain personal medical coverage. Furthermore, I agree to use my personal insurance as a primary medical coverage if an accident or injury occurs. I am aware of the risks and know the safety procedures to follow that are inherent to participating in the U.S. Poets in Mexico Poetry Conference and, in general, all travel to and within Mexico. I further agree and understand that U.S. Poets in Mexico shall not be liable, directly or indirectly for any delay due to any circumstance or inconvenience related to travel. U.S. Poets in Mexico shall not be liable for any accident, including personal injury on the premises where workshops will be conducted or at tour locations visited, or as a result of transportation to and from tour destinations and workshops, or for death, loss, or damage to a person or personal property for any participant, or guest/family member of a participant, in the U.S. Poets in Mexico workshop program. U.S. Poets in Mexico does not assume any responsibility for losses or expenses due to civil unrest, government actions, labor disputes, theft, illness, fire, adverse weather conditions, airlines, other transportation, including tour operations, war or terrorism or any other circumstances beyond our control. Additionally, I hereby authorize U.S. Poets in Mexico to publish a photo of me as part of the workshop group or as part of the group on an excursion as documentation of program activities, on social networking websites or on the USPiM main website. By Typing my name in the space provided in the above Registration form: I acknowledge that I have read the Release and Agreement and hereby agree to the Cancellation Policy, Terms & Conditions & Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement of U.S. Poets in Mexico and I understand the terms used in it and their legal significance. This Release is freely and voluntarily given with the understanding that rights to legal recourse against U.S. Poets in Mexico, its Director, employees, non-employees and all other auxiliary organizations of U.S. Poets in Mexico are knowingly given up in return for allowing my participation in the U.S. Poets in Mexico Poetry Conference.

Tuition is $750 usd Includes all Workshops and Talks and our Welcome Reception. You may pay the entire amount, or pay 1/2 ($375) to reserve your spot, and 1/2 before October 1, 2017.

Cancellations made after October 1, 2017 will result in forfeiture of entire payment.
All poets are welcome to register for our workshops! Workshops are conducted in English, except for the translation workshops which may or may not be bilingual English/Spanish.
